Twitter today announced — in a tweet — that shows you a person’s Twitter bio on the Twitter website anytime you hover over the person’s avatar.

This is just the latest change Twitter has made to its consumer-facing service. Other recent tweaks include the disappearance of background images. Meanwhile Twitter has also announced that it will increase the character limit from direct messages from 140 to 10,000.
Twitter said earlier this week that it now has 316 monthly active users.
